Antique Silvered Shell Form Coin Purse Possibly Grand Tour Souvenir 2 3/4 x 2

A petite antique circa 1900 what I believe is a coin purse souvenir. The closest example I could find had UK silver hallmarks from the 1880's so I am assuming this is a grand tour souvenir item. Measures about 2 3/4" across and about 2" high. Looks to be missing the lever for the latch and has a collection of dents. I cannot find any markings, but does have the appearance of repousse silver. There is a tear in the metal where the lever would have gone and I am not seeing any indications of brassing. This item condition is overall fair antique condition showing wear tear dings and missing components.This item will be shipped via USPS First Class Mail. IVL - W40
