Viamala Trou Perdu Canton of Graubünden Switzerland c1869 Photograph Adolphe Bra

A rare original photograph by Adolphe Braun from circa 1869. The photo title is simply Via Mala Trou Perdu. Located in the Canton of Graubünden Switzerland. This photo is of open cave/tunnel face. Next to the tunnel is a make shift Tee Pee tent. You can see the valley (gorge) to the left. The photo card measures approx 9 3/4" x 8 1/2" with the actual image sizing being about 7 5/8" x 6 3/8" approx. I believe the photograph is of French origin and use the albumen silver print technique. Condition: tanning, foxing, spotting and board is wavy from moisture with edge wear.  Please ask specific questions regarding this item if you have specific details that are important to you before you purchase.
