Victorian Miniature Clock, 800 Silver Mother of Pearl Keywind French Cabinet Clock

Lovely & rare late 19th century miniature keywind cabinet clock of french origin. Could be used as a desk clock or a lovely and unique dollhouse miniature clock. Case features pierced silver design with a mother of pearl background on the front. It is decorated with a rooster on the front and back as part of the clock case design. The dial is hand painted with raised marker and gilded hands. The two reference I could find, both originated out of france. Comes with its original key which winds the works and sets the time. The inside of the clock case is gold gilded. The case for the works is heavily tarnished, unpolished and will need to be polished if desired. The clock works portion is not working, and will need to be serviced and have the mainspring replaced. The last one of these I found was gilded and sold for just over $1100.00 in working condition - priced accordingly. Provided there are no other issues with the works, it should cost around $200.00 to have the works serviced
