Custom Baby's First Haircut and Birthstone Heart Necklace - Personalized in Fine Silver

We mamas all keep curls from our baby's first haircut, but it's hard to preserve this milestone beyond a scrapbook. This is an exciting new design that offers a unique keepsake and is the first of its kind on all of Etsy (and maybe even beyond) - how cool is that?! This special keepsake pendant is crafted with an actual wisp of hair. I need only a small bit of hair to create this necklace, so you will still have plenty to preserve. To accomplish this design, I lovingly hand cut an asymmetrical heart out of recycled pure silver clay and inlay a cubic zirconia birthstone and your baby's hair. When the pendant is kiln fired, the hair is burnt away but the imprinted design remains. When I oxidize and hand polish the pendant, your child's hair leaves a rustic and unique pattern that stands out beautifully. The fired pendant is pure silver (.999) and approximately 3/4" at its widest point. Those who see your pendant will not know it's patterned by your child's hair unless you choose to te
