The Lemon Drop Earrings are made from copper sourced from reclaimed hot water heaters and wire and then gold plated. They are crafted from raw materials by young female metalsmiths in Lusaka’s Ng'ombe Compound.Kaleya sources jewelry from F.R.E.E. Woman, a social enterprise based in Zambia’s capital. The company provides training in techniques such as soldering, etching, riveting and patination, and a workshop. The artisans are free to dedicate as much or as little time as they wish to working in the space and are paid per piece.Measurements:*2.5” l x 1.25” w*As all pieces are handmade please expect small variations in size.
