San Juan Mountains, Colorado A collision of fall in winter give this magnificent aspen grove a glow that is rare to capture in a photograph. This panoramic image shows a window into the wonderful seasonal bloom of fall mixed with white of winter. Battling the elements is one of my favorite parts of photography, keeping the lens dry was a challenge but worth the effort as this scene only last an hour before the snow stopped and sun melted the snow off the trunks.
