Andalusia Sunrise, Spain

  The Story: Sunrise and sunset are my favorite times of day to capture. The soft color pallet speaks directly to my heart, but there is also an energy during this time of day that I find most alluring. It's as though time takes a pause and the world puts on its best face for those brief moments at dawn and dusk. In Andalusia, towns are set high upon hills providing great views of the valleys below. On this particular morning there was a thick layer of fog rising off the valley floor. As the sun broke through the cloud bank, in turned the sky a brilliant bright pink. There were thousands of birds chirping excitedly while hunting for their morning feast in the sun's warm pink light.
