This smoothie was the ideal drink to make for fall!If you like the kind of crusty fruit-filled treat then you will love this smoothie. In addition to the fact that it is low in fat and brimming with protein, but on the other hand it's filling. It makes the ideal bite or breakfast. I can’t wait to get more apples at the farmers market this weekend and try out more new recipes using them!INGREDIENTS:1 cup skim milk1/2 cup non fat plain Greek yogurt1/4 cup oats1 apple, peeled and cored1 large frozen banana1 t. vanilla2 T. maple syrup2 t. cinnamon1/8 t. nutmeg1/2-1 cup of iceINSTRUCTIONS:Combine all of the ingredients in a blender or Vitamix.Blend until smooth.Pour the Apple Cinnamon Smoothie into one large glass or two smaller glasses.
