Kim McAninch created this series of small work on paper in Provincetown MA at a Dune Shack Residency awarded by the Peaked Hill Trust. The intent in the artist's proposal was to explore composition on a small scale with ink, oil, acrylic, pastel and pencil. There were 11 works on paper completed in 2 weeks on the bluffs above the Atlantic ocean. This abstract sunset has purposeful marks, fully exhibiting the artist's view from the deck of the dune shack. 1" cradled panel with resin coat. Unframed.
