This print is based on another Cookies and Cream painting I did in 2022, originally painted as a commission. Because I sculpt and photograph my own references for my paintings, every one is quite different from the other. Although I've painted several Cookies and Cream pieces, some are big, some are small, and the number of scoops vary. I actually really enjoyed painting the single scoop here, and I tried to include quite a few cookie pieces. I've found that when I buy Cookies and Cream ice cream, there actually aren't many sizeable pieces of cookies in it, so I buy Oreos separately and add some in for painting purposes.
