Special version self defense 2 piece knock-down cane with carbide tip in natural Appalachian hickory. 38" overall length (including rubber tip). Weight 20.1 oz. Made of tough Appalachian hickory with mortise and tenon joinery, tungsten carbide tip, and precision stainless steel take-down hardware. Note, this knock-down cane, while good for bearing weight, will not be as strong as a single piece SD cane with a lateral blow or tangential force. While this product satisfies the requirements for allowable carry on items on planes, please read the TSA regulations to familiarize yourself with regulations. This particular cane fits diagonally in an 18" carry on (see image). The longest section is 20 1/2". Note on take-down hardware: when not in use or for periods of storage, it's important to keep the connecting hardware a bit loose. This is true of similar precision take-down items like pool cues.
