Primitive katanake pair 4230

Offering consists of two primitive weapon display stands with live edge base and uprights of hand-riven walnut which follow along natural grain lines forming an irregular wavy shape with inscription "smoke" in kanji. Uncharacteristically whimsical for a Kingfisher product and extremely rare, these may have been used for early product photography purposes. Both have makers mark on base.
