Al Wynne Notecards (Boxed Set)
This boxed set of 10 notecards with envelopes features 5 different paintings by Colorado artist Al Wynne (1922-2009). Tragically, the majority of Wynne's lifetime artistic output (together with that of his wife, noted ceramist Lou Wynne [b. 1930]) burned with their home and studio in the Black Forest Fire of June 2013, making the works preserved in collections such as at Kirkland Museum especially important. The paintings featured on these cards include: Orange Over Red, 1959Oil on linen, 46 x 30 inchesCollection of Al & Lou Wynne The Procession, 1963Oil on linen, 56 x 74 inchesCollection of Al & Lou Wynne City Forms, 1961Oil on linen, 32 x 48 inchesCollection of Kirkland Museum of Fine & Decorative Art Landscape with Magenta, 1960sOil on linen, 35 x 43.5 inchesCollection of Bill Burgess & Kat Jorstad Little Pink, 1978Oil on linen, 39.5 x 45.5 inchesCollection of Kirkland Museum of Fine & Decorative Art Boxed set; 2 of each painting.
