10K Gold Art Deco Zircon and Flowered Heart Locket

Circa the 1920’s, this adorable 10k gold heart-shaped locket is detailed with flowers and ribbons that make it sweet and feminine. A zircon is prong set in the center of the largest flower, which is surrounded by a motif of flowing, smaller flowers. The largest flower has been given a gold wash so that the gold has a yellow hue that stands out against the rosier gold of the rest of the locket. The variation of hues, along with the textured flower petals, bring intricate beauty to the piece, and the ribbon that sits at the top of the central flower adds another pretty, feminine detail. The zircon is a lovely square blue with a beautiful sparkle that pops against the gold. The sweetness of this locket captured our hearts. The locket opens to reveal two windows, with their original gold frames, that can hold photos.
