Aeque Cowl Kit This is the most wearable little cowl! It looks like a triangle shawl from the front, but because it's a cowl, there are no annoying shawl tails to fight with. It keeps your neck warm in the cleverest way, and it's been captivating knitters both in our booth at shows and in our store. From the designer: "Aeque (Latin for equally) is a pretty gradient cowl designed to mimic the look of an asymmetrical triangular shawl wrapped around the neck. Beginning with one stitch, Aeque is worked flat from side to side in Stockinette stitch [...] One little seam up the back joins it together. Aeque is a fun and quick knit [...] Go pastel, monochromatic, or bold – your Aeque is sure to look great!" Use just one 100g/400yd cake of fingering weight Impressionist or Modernist yarn. You'll have some yarn left, so I suggest casting on with the color you like the best to get the most of that color in your cowl! The pattern is flexible if you'd like to add in extra yarn to make it bigger.
