ALICE First Aid Pouch
Adopted in 1973, the All-Purpose Lightweight Individual Carrying Equipment (ALICE) was one of the earliest load-bearing systems that saw a significant increase in the amount of supplies that could be personally transported into the field. It was built as its own system to accommodate a lightweight kit in conjunction with a personal rucksack. The harness system featured a pistol belt, Y-harness, magazine, grenade, and canteen pouches. This pouch is one of the several different kinds of optional extra pouches for the ALICE rig, the individual first aid pouch/compass pouch. Perfectly sized for a USGI lensatic compass or a field dressing, its a nice & cheap little extra on your ALICE rig, MOLLE webbing, or slim belt. A vast majority of the stock we have are the later versions, constructed out of a lightweight water-resistant nylon in comparison to the earlier canvas-constructed pouches.
