Her elbow rests on her knee, with her hand on her shoulder; her body arcs to accommodate the twist, and her face turns towards and rests on her hand. The right and rear sides of her body are in shadow. Texture: All of the surfaces in the painting contain multiple colors, as if the light is shifting. Both physical and visual texture heighten the interplay.
