This two-day class that occurs during two consecutive Saturdays in January is all you need to start turning your favorite words or phrases into beautiful layouts, creating logotypes or getting started on a hand-lettered font! No experience is necessary for this introductory class that will cover the basic principles of typography and the construction of each uppercase and lowercase letterform of the serif and script alphabets. Through the practice of drawing with Pigma Microns (which will be supplied) and other tools that Arley uses in his own professional practice, students will gain the knowledge and confidence to find their own voice and style, learn the rules of hand-lettering...and then learn how to break them!  Tuition includes hand-l
