Podocarpus elongatus 'Monmal' (Blue Ice Yellowwood)

A beautiful, upright, slow-growing evergreen shrub or small tree that reaches a mature height of 15 to 25 feet. It has a pyramid-shaped form and dense, pendulous branches. It features narrow, 2-inch long leaves that start out in a cool yellow-green color when young and turn into a crystal blue hue when mature. It naturally grows dense, but it is also easy to trim into a formal hedge or shape. It sheds its leaves infrequently, making it a useful choice near patios, sidewalks, and swimming pools.
