Sago Palm

Sharp, glossy, deep green leaves emerge in a pattern resembling rose flowers. When new leaves appear, they are soft, but as they expand and mature, they acquire their distinctive hardness. Growth is extremely slow, starting from bronze, feather-like leaves in a symmetrical rosette. As the leaves grow, you will also notice protective spines - much like what you see on a cactus. Handle with care, as all parts are toxic to both pets and humans, including the seeds and leaves. From palm-like fronds to a unique trunk, it is low-maintenance.
