Ayurvedic Breakfast
This breakfast combines warm, nourishing apples with sautéed spinach, zucchini, and yams, which align with Ayurvedic principles, explained to us by Dr. Avilochan Singh, by balancing different elements and doshas. Apples provide sweetness and grounding energy, while spinach and zucchini offer light, easily digestible greens. Yams are hearty, grounding vegetables that promote stability and energy. Together, they create a balanced, soothing meal that supports digestion, boosts energy, and nurtures the body—key goals in Ayurvedic eating. In Ayurveda, butter (especially ghee) is highly valued as a sacred and nourishing ingredient. Ghee is considered a sattvic (pure) food that promotes digestion, boosts immunity, and supports brain health. It lubricates joints, enhances absorption of nutrients, and balances all three doshas when used in moderation. Option to remove below. Tip: Top with our Ayurvedic granola for a caloric increase and a delightful crunch on top.
