Recessed Lid, Size #2 Oval Box, Antiqued Natural Finish

Please Note: This piece is not one of my typical offerings. It was made as an extra during a special order for this size with a recessed lid. This size #2 Shaker Box with a recessed lid in an Antiqued Natural finish measures 6” long by 4” wide by 2 ¼” tall Please note: Recessed-lid boxes are designed for mounting needlework, so the top board may show small spaces where it meets the band. This is normal for this style and will be fully covered once you install your embroidery. To attach your needlework, you will need to supply an “insert” (not included). A piece of foam core board is often used and can be purchased at many online or local craft supply shops. The recessed lid of this box allows needleworkers to install finished pieces onto the top of the box. The top board on the cover is recessed ¼”.
