"Spring" is a woman portrait to embody the sprouting season with fresh green locks of hair and earthy soil highlights. Printed on white thick cotton paper with green and brown inks from a hand carved Shina wood block sourced from a sustainable forest in Hokkaido, Japan. Created by reduction process in 4 layers carved on one woodblock. Title, artist signature, edition number, and year of production appear on front of each print and on the back of each frame.
