The convertible release handle is simply a passenger handle installed upside down. After having broken numerous handles over the years, we wanted to come up with a end all solution to this problem. Though i know some of you have managed to never break a door handle on your e23/24/28/30, i commend you..the rest of us have not had such luck.  These handles are made from billet 6061 aluminum, and require no modifications to install. Simply remove your old handle, pop these into place and you're ready to go. A new grommet for the rod is included.  For those running flat panel door cards (condor speed shop for example) these handles use a trim cover held on by 2 fasteners, so unlike the oem handles that the trim easily pops off or do
