Artist Bio: Born in 1995 in the Antilles, on the island of Guadeloupe. At the age of 8, Elladj leaves his home island for the Metropolis with his family. It is a total change, even a physical, mental and cultural revolution. Through his works, the artist explores an open and vibrant approach to the relationship of people and imaginations. He carries out a work of experimentation and documentation, focusing on heritage, symbolic images as well as voodoo and kamite spiritualities. He focuses on daily life, mythologies, iconography, beliefs, the religious and cultural heritage of the Afro-Caribbean landscape.
