Rhapis Multifida Palm Tree Rhapis Multifida is a medium size clumping palm endemic to South-Central China and surrounding areas. It was first collected by the Japanese for Tokugawa shogunate palaces. Rhapis palms are sometimes referred to as dwarf fan palms. Rhapis palms are very low maintenance which accounts for this palm's popularity! They require very little light to thrive, are very drought tolerant and not susceptible to health issues.
