2024 Crafts & Crafts Festival Admission Ticket
Celebrate all things “Craft” at the Lewes Historical Society’s Crafts & Crafts Festival on Saturday, October 5, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, October 6, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Over 50 local and regional artisans will be joined by local craft breweries, and a local Meadery for the two-day event. Artists demonstrating their crafts will be joined by LHS’s historic interpreters who will educate attendees on the historic process of creating similar goods. The demonstrations will include the centuries-old method of dying cloth conducted by Lucie Allen using a goldenrod dye. Historic interpreter Breanna Duncan will demonstrate one of the oldest crafts in human history – basket weaving. The contemporary artist demonstrations throughout the weekend will include the making of a resin montage by Ed Symonds, a glass-blowing demonstration by Luckie, plein-air painting by Bob Hunter, weaving on a rigid heddle loom by Nancy Imphong, collage art by Heidi Blake, wood turning by Mike Nichols, a
