Amethyst Stalactite - Medium

This amethyst stalactite crystal slice ranges in color from a mid-tone purple to brown, clear, white and green in the center. It is very similar on both sides as can be seen in the photos. Measures 1 1/4 x 1 3/8 inches in diameter.  Origin: Brazil. These rare mineral specimens are some of nature's most beautiful gifts. Stalactites form at the roof of a cave with drops of mineral rich water. This process takes millions of years. The most desirable pieces are found in Brazil and Uruguay.
