Resume-Building For Teens: What Can A High School Resume Look Like? ~ with Clare Hancock

Audience awareness, clear communication, and effective word choice are all key elements in professional writing - including resumes! Fortunately (and sometimes unfortunately), resumes provide a quick snapshot of who you are and what you can do; you've just got to make sure that the snapshot presents you in the best light. This workshop is for students who do not necessarily have much job experience yet; expert Clare Hancock will go over ways to bolster what experience you do have and polish it up for employers. By the end of this workshop, you will have gained some key resume-building skills. *Clare Hancock holds a Masters in English from Texas A&M University and is currently applying for PhD candidacy in Adult Education. Her research experience includes digital humanities and scholarship, academic composition, pedagogy / andragogy, and women writers from the 18th-19th centuries – with a special focus on Jane Austen.
