A Rebellious Release
We are incredibly accustomed to skimming the surface of our inner life in an effort to move forward - to the next task, the next project, the next day. In our haste we miss the true depth of our experiences, whether they be good, bad, or somewhere in between. What if instead of minimizing our emotions, we expressed them? What if instead of judging them, we welcomed them? What if instead of keeping them hostage, we shared them openly? This 60-minute class is an opportunity to pause, listen and honor your inner truth. Combining mindfulness and somatic movement, it is a gift to your most authentic feeling self - a chance to discover what you might be holding, move through it, and be seen by your community in the process. The foundations of this class are light breath work and Pilates. There will be an emphasis on noticing your internal experience and though you will be invited to share with the group, it is by no means required.
