Join me for a day of learning Copperplate! ✨ Introduction to Copperplate - Basic Strokes + Lowercase LettersDate: Saturday, October 4, 2025Location: Tustin, California. Exact location will be emailed to you after registrationTime: 11AM-4PM (This includes a 45 minute lunch break) This introductory workshop will take you through one of my absolute favorite pointed pen scripts. Copperplate script is derived from a form of handwriting called English Roundhand and though it was widely used from the 16th-19th century..it continues to be a favored script today. If you are interested in dipping into pointed pen calligraphy, learning this script will give you a strong foundation of the classic letterforms. We will be using a flexible steel nib to achieve the delicate hairlines and thick shades. Whether you are an absolute beginner or an experienced calligrapher, all are welcome!
