Lokatan wooden product and cutlery have been layer with food-grade beeswax. Please kind to wash it before using with hot water so it free from any contamination and bacteria during shipment.Lokatan home and living products are mostly made from Teakwood, some cutleries made from Sapodilla Woods, Rosewoods, and Coconut woods. Although this kind of wood is strong, durable, and termite-free, don't soak it too long in the water.
