38 Suspension Lamp
Product Description38 Suspension Lamp, beautiful and interesting green plants. The spheres are suspended from a canopy above, with small spaces inside each sphere that hold not only lights but also earth and small plants, such as cacti, herbs or other succulents. The Series 38 chandelier pushes air in and out of the glass, heating and cooling intermittently. Expanding on this idea, large glass spheres were blown and then haphazardly introduced large numbers of white cavities into them, deliberately intersecting and colliding with each other. Some are deep enough to accommodate soil, succulents and cactus plantings. Each large sphere has two to three lighting elements, as well as one or two flower pots. Electricity and suspension are achieved through rigid iron pipes that can tangle and wrinkle, seemingly with no regard for gravity. Occasionally, these iron tubes surround the satellite white flowerpots, seemingly escaping the confines of the bright, transparent glass spheres.NOTE: Green
