This tree landscape was a favorite of Lori’s with the tiny, mighty oak trees, the splatter of blue skies and a glimmer of sunlight in the right corner. The name and painting was inspired after the famous poem, Trees, by Joyce Kilmer. Lori found an old poem collection she did back in middle school and this poem by Kilmer was the inspiration behind this painting. It was recently read at her childhood friend’s, Mother’s funeral. It Measures 16” x 32” Long. A peaceful addition for a bedroom, bathroom, den or sunporch but after Lori painted it, she hung it in the kitchen, over her bay window, that looks out over trees in their pasture on the farm.
