John 15:13 (KJV)Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.Amen! 💕🙏I took hundreds of pictures on Memorial Day, many years ago, but this composite, is definitely a favorite! I decided to visit Smith Mountain Cemetery and Reedley Cemetery, to give my respects to our heroes that paid the ultimate sacrifice.  The loving volunteers filled the landscape with Old Glory—it was truly a beautiful sight to behold!  The day was solemn, yet simultaneously beautiful—taking a moment to recognize our fallen heroes.I am truly and forever grateful to our selfless and courageous men and women that are presently serving; those that have served; those that have passed on; those that are missing in action; and today, those that gave their life, while on duty.
