Jane Oniki creates abstract work that explores the interplay of color, form and space with a commitment to reductive imagery. She begins her works with a layering process to find intriguing rythyms between shapes and patterns. "I try to imbue each work with buoyancy and nostalgia for when, as a girl, I found joy in creating vibrant abstract drawings." Oniki studied painting at CU Boulder and Anderson Ranch Arts Center in Snowmass, CO. Her work is in private and corporate collections.
