1983 Schmid Beatrix Potter Pigling Bland Hanging Ornament

Like New, Old Store Stock. Vintage 1983 Beatrix Potter Pigling Bland Hanging Ornament from Schmid.  Never used. In Excellent condition for its age. Free of cracks, chips, stains, and crazing.Hand-painted polished glaze ceramic ornament. Beatrix Potter illustrated and made a booklet of "The Tale of Pigling Bland". Aunt Pettitoes cared for 8 piglets. Pigling Bland and Alexander, went to market for Aunt Pettitoes. They brushed their coats, curled their tails and washed their little faces, and wished them good-bye in the yard. It tells about the two pig’s journey to market.A shiny glaze covers a vivid Pigling Bland and shows off the dark brown walking stick, red handkerchief with his lunch bag and blue strip shirt under cranberry jacket. Very detailed face. Original tag is still attached to the original gold cord of this ornament. It is stamped on the base “c FW Co 1983”. Pigling Bland was originally purchased for my former store as part of my Beatrix Potter Schmid collection. I will also
