Word Mapping Mats Bundle - Science of Reading - Orthographic Mapping

This Science of Reading aligned resource provides students with interactive phoneme-grapheme word mapping mats. Students will be able to make connections between the speech sounds (phonemes) and their letter sounds or letter sound combinations (graphemes). Colored and black/white versions are included. These orthographic mapping mats ask students to: Say the word represented on the picture card. Map it (they will tap or lay down an object for each sound they hear). Graph it by writing the letters for each sound. Blend the word by sliding their finger and saying the sounds.
