To create our Sailors Reserve Rum, we finish our classic white rum in American Oak (former Bourbon barrels) for 2+ years, preserving the youthful character of the rum, while layering hints of vanilla & oak, for a delicate, dry finish. Bottled at 100 proof, this rum is both strong and delicate – there’s not a drop of sugar in this bottle! In 2013 we launched our nano-distillery to create unique & remarkable American rum. Our signature spirit is double distilled in classic pot stills from 100% Louisiana cane - a hybrid fermentation of raw sugar and blackstrap molasses.
