Creative Painting with Alcohol Inks

Let the ink swirls take you to your creative happy place! Sandy Jung loves sharing her passion of creating abstract landscapes and beautiful patterns through the creative process of swirling alcohol inks. We are excited to host Sandy in the studio as she shares with us how these inks works and gets our creative juices flowing!  This introductory class is designed to  help you discover the many unique characteristics of alcohol ink as you try different techniques of applying and manipulating the inks to create one of a kind paintings. The very nature of isopropyl alcohol mixed with pigments makes for intense colors and an ideal medium for the “non-artist” and a new challenge for those used to working with water colors, acrylics and/or oils.   This is a great medium for those who “question their creative abilities” as well as accomplished artists of all ages.  When: Saturday, September 20  10am – noon Where: Main Street Studio, 786 Charlton Road Workshop Costs:  Registration: $60 non-me
