SENCHA FUKAMUSHI
A wonderful blend of fresh spring and early summer leaves converges to create Japan's most classic loose-leaf tea. Our Sencha undergoes the distinctive Fukamushi, or "deep-steaming," method renowned in southern Shizuoka, before being meticulously finished with the expert roasting technique, a trademark of the Sugimoto family. The high-heat finishing roast reveals a lavish aroma and a persistent umami finish that remains unchanged even through numerous steeping.
