African Black Soap & Shea Butter

First, the local communities, consisting predominantly of women, gather plantain skins, cocoa pods, palm oil, and shea butter. The plantain skins and cocoa pods are sun-dried and then roasted in a clay oven to produce ashes and often sun-dried and roasted to give the soap its characteristic dark brown color. This is then blended in our Shea butter once again creating this wonderful Bar of Soap.   Ingredients: COCOA POD ASH, COCOS NUCIFERA (COCONUT) OIL, ELAEIS GUINEENSIS (PALM) KERNEL OIL, BUTYROSPERMUM PARKII (SHEA) BUTTER, AQUA (WATER), TOCOPHEROL (VITAMIN E). Distilled water , coconut oil, organic jojoba oil,  shea butter, castor oil, sodium hydroxide Honey Powder    Our products do not claim to heal or cure any diseases.  Always skin test.
