If higher temperature wheels are needed and floor protection is not a concern, check out our steel wheel casters with temperatures up to 1,300˚F. * Total locking brake casters work best with softer wheels like neoprene, soft rubber, thermoplastic rubber & polyurethane. The softer wheel allows the brake pad to grip the tread effectively. While total locking brakes also work with harder wheels, a strong push may cause slight movement of the caster wheel.
