Our Abyssinian Flower coffee is sourced from the Uraga wash station, which is located in the Guji Zone of Oromia and is owned and operated by Haileslassie Ambaye. Nearly 900 producers living in the community of Haro Wachu help produce this amazing coffee. Producers deliver ripe cherries to the Uraga wash station where they are sorted and immediately placed on raised beds and dried over a period of 15 to 20 days. Raised drying beds are carefully constructed to ensure proper air circulation and temperature control for an optimal drying process. Cherries are also turned regularly on the beds to prevent damage.
