Werkstatte Kimono

Inspired by the Wiener Werkstätte that brought together architects, artists and designers working in ceramics, fashion, silver, furniture and the graphic arts at the turn of the 20th century in Vienna. This one of a kind kimono is made from a vintage biege tsumugi silk (from hatched silk cocoons) kimono. The kimono features a kasuri (ikat) pattern and is embellished with metallic bugle and seed beads in a graphic-inspired pattern, in-seam pockets and beige silk lining. one size silk kimono in seam pockets biege silk lining silver, gold, black and white embroidery
