Blue Universe

The past year has provided me some much-needed time to think and reflect. One of the colors that consistently came to mind, and that I associated with peace and hope was blue.  Blue Universe was the byproduct of my reflections during the height of the pandemic. This piece provided me with a space to experiment with different media and colors.  The blues are juxtaposed with the busy energy of the glossy blacks and whites, reflecting the contrast between the darkness of the world and the hope that we have. The lighter blue highlights the lightness of the energy in between, while the holographic glitter radiates the colors of the rainbow. The light blue also glows in the dark, illuminating the path of hope when the lights are shut off.
