The W1867 Shop Fox Portable Cyclone Dust Collector boasts a 2-stage cyclone system's efficiency while maintaining the portability of a single-stage dust collector. It achieves an airflow of 868 CFM and up to 9.7" of static pressure, generating a vortex that draws in substantial wood chips and large dust particles into a 20-gallon steel drum lined with a plastic bag. The remaining fine dust is directed past the 12-3/4" aluminum impeller, captured by a canister filter, and deposited into a separate plastic collection bag. The pleated spun-bond polyester filter catches particles up to 1 micron, with a 99.9% efficiency rate, offering maximum surface area for efficient airflow. A simple turn of the filter cleaning handle activates the paddle brushes, removing accumulated dust from the pleats and maintaining a high CFM.
