Shop Fox presents the W1869 3 HP Portable Cyclone Dust Collector, combining the efficiency of a 2-stage cyclone system with the mobility of a single-stage dust collector. With a noteworthy 1941 CFM and up to 2.9" static pressure, the unit generates a vortex to extract substantial wood chips and large dust particles into a 50-gallon steel drum lined with a plastic bag. The remaining fine dust passes beyond the 15" cast aluminum impeller, captured by a canister filter, and then directed into a separate plastic collection bag. The pleated spun-bond polyester filter traps 99.9% of particles up to 1 micron, maximizing surface area for efficient air flow. The filter cleaning handle, when turned, activates paddle brushes to dislodge accumulated dust from the pleats, ensuring a consistently high CFM.
