1957 Glen Classic

1957 Glen Classic Bob Holbert's Porsche RS narrowly leads Paul O'Shea's Mercedes Benz 300 SL into the Esses during one of the earliest races on the present Watkins Glen circuit. There were two hotly contested races that weekend between these drivers which resulted in one victory for each. A scenic background including Seneca Lake demonstrates the beauty of this now world famous view.  Painted by artist, Robert Gillespie.
