Original 24"x 30" Oil on canvas This painting depicts a contemporary young lady of 2023 still blind, expecting fair treatment in a fight for justice for minorities. Justice, in its broadest sense, is the concept that individuals are to be treated in a manner that is equitable and fair. In this country, it has not been delegated to minorities as laws were made to declare Blacks as chattel and 3/5 a human, and other minorities as sub- human not deserving of fair treatment. Unfortunately in America there is a division of attitudes toward the treatment of minorities both negative and positive. It is a war of ideals and very political.
